Founder & CEO Maths Specialist and Examiner About Me I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with over 25 years in education. I’ve taught a wide range of subjects including Computer Science and Maths uoto A level, working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. ​​ My background includes senior leadership experience as an Assistant Headteacher, where I was responsible for staff wellbeing and had a strong focus on supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I’ve also spent many years working in SEND schools, supporting disaffected learners up to the age of 16—helping them re-engage with education and achieve real progress. ​​ I work as an Exams Officer with specialist knowledge of GCSE, A Levels and Functional Skills. I have been in intricately involved in tailoring a curriculum for Sheffield's vulnerable students, particularly those with EAL and SEND needs. Furthermore, my extensive experience in training colleagues on EAL strategies, coupled with my active involvement as a SEND Officer with the NEU, underscores my experience in delivering quality training. My in-depth knowledge of EAL and SEND pedagogy and practice, second language development, and the English National Curriculum requirements indicate my ability to work with a wide variety of students. My extensive experiences, leadership skills, and unwavering commitment to fostering inclusion make me an ideal fit for working with SEND Students, my experience of working with their families enable me to work closely with parents with empathy and understanding.
